The HIMSS Chapter HIE Liaison Roundtable provides a vital communication link between HIMSS chapters and their local HIE and/or state level HIE activities with HIMSS national activities. Sharing and communication is focused around local activities and efforts as well as national activities including the HIMSS HIE Steering Committee, HIMSS State Advocacy efforts and HIMSS Advocacy CAR program.
The core members of this Roundtable are the designated HIMSS Chapter HIE Liaisons. It is the responsibility of the individual HIMSS Chapter to identify their representatives to participate in this Roundtable. In addition, the monthly Roundtable conference calls are open to all HIMSS members to participate as guests who may have an interest in RHIOs and HIEs. Guests however are not official members of this Roundtable.
